Talk about being in the right place at the right time.

Craig Campbell is like most of the rest of the country music world and is currently in Vegas for tonight's ACM Awards. On the way to Vegas, however, Campbell met a man who was on his way to get married. He documented the meeting on social media.

Met a guy on the plane to Vegas. He asked did I have plans 4 Saturday. I said no..why? He asked will u sing at my Vegas wedding? I said sure!

That on-his-way-to-get-married man was Tony Ramos who posted on his own Facebook a link to Campbell's page that said simply, "Down to earth."

Craig Campbell gets the TMZ treatment

After I read yesterday about Craig saying yes to singing at the random wedding, I wondered if he came through for the couple. Turns out he did.

Craig posted the above picture to Facebook this morning, writing:

Congrats to Tony and Crystal…gettin' married "Vegas Style"!! Thanks for letting me be a part of your memories

What a great guy and a wonderful memory for the newlyweds.

Remember back in the day when our only true social media was Maury Povich, Jerry Springer, or the Today Show? There was no DVR and most of us couldn’t program our VCRs so we’d gather around our TVs to check out the latest guests who were going to duke it out or at least give a severe verbal beatdown.

If we were lucky the guests were celebrities and we got to witness firsthand that celebs were just like us and got into arguments and fights just like “real people.”

Oh those were the days.
