Ryan Tedder, half of One Republic and music producer extraordinaire, spilled the beans that he has worked on a song or two for Taylor Swift's new album. In an interview, Ryan said this about working with Ms. Swift, "I did a little stuff with Taylor, who’s probably the fastest songwriter I ever met in my life. I can go on record saying that Taylor is genuinely the quickest songwriter I’ve ever- for anyone who doubts it she writes her own stuff. Any idea and you’re like “Yeah I don’t know if I like that lyric” and she’ll have three options, replaced within 10 seconds, she’s like bam bam bam. She’s bit of a prodigy, bit of a songwriting prodigy."
That's pretty legit stuff! Ryan Tedder is the mastermind behind so many pop hits so this will most likely be all Taylor needs to solidify the pop direction of her upcoming 5th album. Ryan did get in touch with his country side though when he teamed up with Dierks Bentley for CMT Crossroads!
Say what you will…I can't wait to hear what that collab sounds like!
