When Miranda Lambert announced details of her new album "Platinum" yesterday and revealed that she had a collaboration with Carrie Underwood, fans naturally wanted to know more.
During a new interview on Yahoo, the singer tells how the duet with Carrie came to be.
"Singing with Carrie Underwood is very, very intimidating – I mean, I'll be honest. She is an amazing vocalist, I'm a big fan of hers, and asking her to do this was nerve-wracking.

I sent her an email … a long, blabbing email about if she wanted to sing on the record, it could be cool, but maybe she didn't want to, and if she liked the song, but she didn't have to like the song … when I sent it I thought this sounds ridiculous."
Ridiculous or not, I'm pretty sure the song, which is called Something Bad, is going to be more like something completely awesome!
"Platinum" hits stores June 3.
