CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera are both on a break from this season's "The Voice," and Usher and Shakira have taken their place. Turns out, though, that Cee Lo won't be returning.
During a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the original "The Voice" coach announced that he's quit the show.
"I'm not coming back at all," he told DeGeneres.
"I'm going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them as well and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year. But yeah, I'm going to miss The Voice, too. I'm not coming back, guys," he says.
Well that's too bad. How will fans get by without seeing the crazy animals he brings with him?

As for why CeeLo has made the surprise decision to quit the popular show, he says he just has too many things planned.
"I don't want to wear out my welcome there. I have so many other things I want to do. I haven't released an album in four years. I'm almost done with an album."
So do you suppose the show will ask Usher or Shakira to take his place permanently or invite someone new into the fold?
Guess we'll find out soon enough. The sixth season of the singing competition begins this Monday on NBC.
