Taylor Swift being replaced?

 TK

The Grammy's have been very good to Taylor Swift. She has 7 awards and a necklace to prove that. And it wasn't THAT long ago when Ms.Swift was owning the country categories. But this year…well this year was different. Despite Taylor giving one of her most personal and intimate performances ever, the praise of the show was directed to someone different. That someone was Kacey Musgraves. If paying attention to any of the major news sources are any indication, it would appear country music has a new sweetheart. Apparently, all it took was wining 2 Grammy's(in which you beat the reigning sweetheart)and a "true to country" performance at the event to captivate the hearts of the viewers.

Taylor has already announced she's been working on her 5th album. And since her last album, RED, was definitely pushing the country music genre limits, we can't help but wonder if she's going to leave country music in the dust? In which case, it definitely leaves an open slot and Kacey seems to be just the girl to fill it.

Bbbbut, there's definitely room for the both of them. So hopefully Tay Tay doesn't veer too far away. They bring two entirely different styles to the table.

One thing is for sure, when they're comparing you to the likes of a name like Taylor Swift, you better be prepared because you're about to blow up…and that's not just us "blowin smoke"
