Jennifer Nettles releases new solo album, ‘That Girl’

Jennifer Nettles That Girl

Do you suppose the PR people remind us that Jennifer Nettles is in Sugarland to make sure that us country blogs talk about her album? Too funny.

Press release: Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles has officially released her debut solo album, That Girl via Mercury Nashville. It's been four years since she began her journey as a solo artist, and the results have proven patience makes perfect. The album was produced by Rick Rubin (co-founder of Def Jam Records) and was recorded in Rick's Shangri-La Studio – formerly owned by Bob Dylan.

"Reinvention takes processing, evaluation, planning, time. And so, four years ago, I began. Again."Jennifer Nettles
