Toby Keith has a lot of different business ventures that keeps the cash rolling in for him including his successful (and always growing) chain of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grills, his line of high-end booze, and his motorcycle partnership, but this newest possible business is kind of different.
According to Inside Pulse, it looks like Toby Keith might possibly be looking to get into the professional wrestling business.
According to the Jan. 20th Wrestling Observer newsletter, Janice Carter did all she could to try and sell off TNA Impact Wrestling to country music singer Toby Keith. Carter and TNA officials went to Norman, Oklahoma to try and sell TNA to Keith, but negotiations hit a snag.
Now, any possible acquisition of TNA by Toby Keith is all but dead because Keith is now allegedly backing Jeff Jarrett’s new startup wrestling company instead. Jarrett has some major meetings the next couple of weeks that could make or break this deal, and he has even started calling everywhere to see which wrestling talent is available.
I guess the rumor has been circulating for a couple of months now and at least one person isn't happy about his name being tied to Toby Keith.
I don't know about you, but Toby Keith just looks like a guy who should own a wrestling company to me. What do you think?
