Rising country-rock band DOWNDAY releases their sophomore single "The Last Song" to radio this week, following the Top 40 success of last year's "Back In the Day." The new track, a seering ballad, is the lead single for the band's forthcoming sophomore set, "After All These Years," slated for a May 26 release.
The album will also feature a collaboration with Jonathan Cain (of Journey) on the title track.
Nashville Gab has the pleasure of exclusively premiereing the new single "The Last Song," which hits iTunes on February 11.
As the new year gets underway, DOWNDAY also has their sights set on an Grip It Rip It & Rock It Tour 2014 sponsored by the GIASI Beverage company, HOOTERS and the Original John Daly Cocktail. The Arkansas-based band mixes uptempo country with good ole fashioned rock-n-roll that is a clear audience draw.
The band will also present PGA Golfer and two-time Major Champion John Daly’s new beverage at concert locations all over the United States. Daly will also make appearances at select cities for on-site signings.
