I hope they make vegetarian chicken noodle soup because it sounds like Shania Twain needed some this week after she was forced to cancel shows due to a nasty sore throat.
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where Shania's Still the One show takes place, said Wednesday that the singer had been placed on strict vocal rest after developing a virus that inflamed her vocal chords, forcing her to cancel a couple of performances.
Friday's performance is expected to go on as planned.
Fans who purchased tickets for the canceled shows can exchange them for a future performance at the Colosseum Box Office or at 1-888-929-7849. They may also request a refund where they purchased them.
Wow, that would definitely suck if you were one of those fans who traveled a long distance to see the singer.
Well wishes and good health vibes going out to Shania.

I can sympathize with Shania. I’ve lost my voice before and had to cancel shows. It’s the worst feeling ever. You feel like your letting your fans down. But there’s not much you can do. Take care Shania and I hope your voice comes back better than ever.
