Big Machine’s CEO/President Scott Borchetta shares his Grammy picks with Billboard

Scott Borchetta knows a thing or two about great music. His record label, Big Machine Record Label boasts some of country music's  biggest and hottest artists. So, it's safe to assume many people value his opinion. He gave Billboard some insight onto just who he thinks will be taking home one of those fancy Grammy's this year:

Album of the Year(watch out folks, this one is a huge surprise)… Only one choice there… TAYLOR SWIFT'S RED! RED sold 1.2 million first week and has gone on to sell 6 million worldwide. The artistic growth of this album is reflected in the number of artist and producer collaborations where, for the first time, Taylor really reached beyond the Nashville landscape to stretch her musical boundaries. Sonically, it covers a lot of space but all the songs are uniquely Taylor and ultimately she ties them all together in a master piece. One for the ages.

Song of the Year… For me it was Royals or Same Love… Both so fresh, and the right songs at the right time. But, I'm going with Royals. It's the anti-anthem that becomes the anthem. Love it.

Record of the Year… Imagine Dragons with Radioactive. Sonically, it's so powerful and seductive and rocked, which was much needed in 2013. You can still rock in America and Imagine Dragons proved it. They are a live powerhouse and I think they have a chance to have a real career – winning this could help launch them to the next level. I hope it does….

Best New Artist… A lot of great new artists this year! I gotta go with my homegirl Kacey Musgraves. Kacey's a great singer-songwriter and fills a much needed void with her dark southern tales about every day life. If she stays the course Kacey will carve out her own musical lane. I gotta give a special mention for ginger Ed Sheeran (who I got to see numerous times opening for Taylor and he nightly pulverized the audience) as well as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. I expect both to be around for a long time to come.

So there you have it. Tune into CBS on Sunday to see if Scott's predictions come true!
