Well I know of one country singer who isn’t afraid to perform at Seaworld

Alan Jackson SeaWorld

After the mass exodus from SeaWorld's Bands, Brew & BBQ Festival recently due to fan pressure, I didn't think anyone had balls enough to perform there.

Turns out there are at least two stars who do.

I just got an email from SeaWorld after signing up for their newsletter that announced that both Alan Jackson and Kid Rock will be performing there this weekend.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Bands, Brew & BBQ Festival features six weekends of signature mouth-watering BBQ, an array of thirst-quenching beer and an atmosphere that bring families together for much-loved foods and rockin’ music.

Join us for 6 full weekends: February 1 through March 9, 2014.

Saturday, February 1 at 5 pm – Alan Jackson
Sunday, February 2 at 4 pm – Kid Rock

Please see the Show Schedule for Concert times.

This event is free with SeaWorld Admission. Event area opens at 11 am.

I have a feeling SeaWorld's probably going to keep the rest of their performers list a secret until right before show time to try and keep the uproar to a minimum.

The park has had over half a dozen acts refuse to perform at the park this year after public outcry following the release of the documentary Blackfish. The latest to quit was Trace Adkins and before him there was Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood, Barenaked Ladies, Heart, REO Speedwagon, and Cheap Trick.

Two other acts are still, as far as I know, scheduled to perform at the event this spring – Scotty McCreery and Justin Moore. So far it doesn't seem either one has buckled to the pressure, but there's still time.
