Rodney Carrington and Carrie Underwood are an item, at least according to my husband

Update: Well that sucks. It looks like a few of Carrie's less jovial fans must have gotten to Rodney and he's had second thoughts about his marriage to Carrie because he's now taken down the post. Sad, I thought they made a cute couple. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Wish I had taken a screen shot of the original post to put in the deleted one's place.

This is funny. Being that I'm the mighty protector of completely useless facts and country music trivia, my husband likes to get one over on me by breaking country music news to me and likes nothing more than telling me a story I haven't already heard.

So here's his latest shocking tidbit. Apparently comedian Rodney Carrington and Carrie Underwood have recently gotten married.

Let the LOLz commence.

From Rodney's Facebook:

Well I'm sure that Mike Fisher, Carrie's husband, would be very interested in this bit of news. LOL.

And yes, my husband was very happy with himself after breaking this bit of fake Carrie Underwood news to me. Silly man.

In case you've never heard of Rodney Carrington, he's a comedian who travels around the country doing shows and has had a few T.V. specials so you may have seen him on television a time or two. And yes, this was meant as a joke. It's kind of what Rodney does, you know, because he's a comedian and all.

Update: Rodney Carrington has updated fans on his now ongoing honeymoon with Carrie over on his Facebook (and he mentioned this story ❤❤). I hope all the Carrie fans out there aren't giving him too much hell for his marrying Carrie story. It's all just meant as a joke, but Carrie's fans aren't always the most tolerant of jokes made at the singer's expense.

On a side note, my husband is completely insufferable now that this story has gone sorta viral. Sheesh. Amateurs.
