2013 was a weird year for country music. I see a trend that has just exploded in the past year. Trucks, fireball whiskey, sexy women and hip hop references is what country music has slowly become. However, there has also been some inspiring country songs come out this year. When you hear a song and it gives you chills, that's a good song.
My top 10 of 2013 isn't just country songs that made it to radio, but also those that were tracks on albums or those that only made it to XM radio. If you see a song on my list that you aren't familiar with, check it out. Odds are you will like it and it will somehow inspire you as well. Cheers to all you country music fans out there, may 2014 bring some bad ass country music our way.
