When you've helped your team win a show such as "The Voice" three times, you're naturally going to be the one to watch and the one to beat, which is why it's no surprise that when "Today" host Matt Lauer visited the set of the popular singing competition, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, and Adam Levine ganged up on three-time champion coach Blake Shelton.
"He's a little boastful this season," Aguilera said of Shelton. "And he's a little lazy this season."
Lazy and "complacent," according CeeLo and Adam joined in.
Blake took the ribbing all in stride and responded simply, "Clearly my track record doesn't speak for itself. I mean, there's almost a separation between losers and the winner's side of the table."
That's one thing I love about this show, you can tell that the judges genuinely seem to like each other and enjoy joking around.
Check out the video below of Matt chatting with the coaches and joining "The Voice" host Carson Daly for a behind-the-scenes tour.
"The Voice" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
