I have a confession. I'm obsessed with Lorde. What's a Lorde you ask? Well she's a 17 year New Zealand native who sings sort of dark and smoky songs that…

In the high school drama that is Taylor Swift's life, Justin Bieber just upped the anty in the always rolling war of words by sending Taylor a bit of stink eye in the form of a new song he recently released that's supposed to be all about her.
At least the internet says it's about Taylor, so it has to be true. Just has to be.
Lady Antebellum released their special deluxe edition of "Golden" today and started out the day in New York with a performance on NBC's Today Show for a special Veterans Day concert. They had a little microphone trouble while singing Compass, but performed right through it. They ended up performing Compass, Need You Now, Downtown, and serenaded fans with The Star Spangled Banner.
Check out all three performances after the jump.
Grammy Award-winning music legends The Oak Ridge Boys are set to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of their annual Christmas Tour in 2013 with a festive show featuring live performances of holiday classics and their biggest hits. Additionally, while Richard Sterban, Duane Allen, William Lee Golden, and Joe Bonsall are celebrating their 40th Anniversary of The Oak Ridge Boys, they have teamed with Compassion International as the official sponsor of the “Christmas Time’s a Comin’” Tour.
“Over the course of our career we have worked with many children's relief organizations, but never have we seen a more positive response from our fans than we are seeing with Compassion International,” says Oak Ridge Boy Joe Bonsall. “I believe that folks are moved by Compassion International’s Christ-centered approach to feeding and educating needy kids around the world—and their amazing success rate, which is impressive! When folks sign up to help a hungry child there is a huge chance that THAT child will rise out of poverty and make a difference in the world. This is why we are excited and blessed to be working with this stellar organization.”

I went on Reddit a while back (because I'm a glutton for punishment) and ended up talking to some people about my lil ol' site here. One of them said to me that they were under the impression that bloggers were a dying breed and that there was no money to be made in blogging.
Well I can definitely attest to the fact that there's not a whole lot of money to be made by the average blogging Joe (such as myself), but as for bloggers being a dying breed … well don't tell that to Sara Evans because she's just launched a new lifestyle blog.
From a press release that landed in my inbox:
Platinum-selling RCA Nashville recording artist Sara Evans recently launched a
new lifestyle blog, “A Real Fine Place,” with longtime co-worker, friend and
sister-in-law Kaelin Evans (“KK”). The blog of “fashion and whimsy” emphasizes
the pair’s passion for beauty, fashion, travel, and food. Sara, whose new single
“Slow Me Down” is currently climbing the charts with the companion video
starring NASCAR great Carl Edwards airing on CMT and GAC, teamed up with Kaelin
for the blog as a way to share all about the life that they love as they travel
around the world and in their normal everyday lives. Fans can expect a constant
stream of updates and posts from both Sara and KK, to find out more about their

Uh oh, looks like someone needs an Oprah intervention.
Back in March of this year, David Allan Coe was in a pretty serious car wreck. Story was he ran a red light and was hit by a semi.
So yeah, bad.
Since March, though, I hadn't heard anything more about the accident until I got an email from Coe's son, Tyler, saying there was more to whole the story … not about the wreck itself but apparently what's been going on since then.
