Ashley Monroe releases music video for “Weed Instead of Roses”

Today, singer/songwriter Ashley Monroe released her new single and
music video for “Weed Instead of Roses.” The song is from her critically
acclaimed album Like A Rose, co-produced by 20-time GRAMMY award-winner
Vince Gill and Justin Niebank, and is available NOW at iTunes for $0.69 through
the end of the month.

CMT will host the world
premiere of the music video for “Weed Instead of Roses.” Monroe is one of CMT’s
Women of Country and her video debuts today across all CMT platforms.

Kacey Musgraves to help Katy Perry take over the Hollywood Bowl for a good cause

CBS RADIO has announced that Katy Perry, along with several of her
favorite artists will take over the Hollywood Bowl for a special concert event
on Wednesday, Oct. 23.  Citi Presents Katy Perry’s We Can Survive also
features Sara Bareilles, Ellie Goulding, Tegan & Sara
and Kacey Musgraves.  Katy joined Carson Daly, host of morning
drive on CBS RADIO’s 97.1 AMP Radio in Los Angeles, today to make the
announcement live on-air.  Highlights of the interview are available at www.ampradio.com. 

The concert comes one
day after the highly anticipated release of Katy’s newest album, PRISM,
featuring the smash No. 1 single “Roar.”  Tickets for “We Can Survive” go on
sale Friday, Sept. 27 at 10:00AM, PT through Ticketmaster.  Citi

Justin Moore scores his fourth #1 song with “Point At You”

With his fastest rising single, Justin Moore scored his fourth
#1 smash, “Point At You” [iTunes / Amazon], on the Country Aircheck/ Mediabase
chart. The rollicking love song is featured on his third studio album, OFF
THE BEATEN PATH, which was released last Tuesday. Justin celebrated the new
project with fans in his homestate last week on the University of Arkansas
campus before playing to a lively crowd on Friday at the Best Buy Theater in New
York City. 

"What a mind-blowing week! I can't say thank you enough to my
fans and friends at Country radio for taking 'Point At You' to the top,” said

Danielle Bradbery releases official video for “The Heart of Dixie”

Today, VEVO exclusively premiered the new video for Danielle Bradbery's debut single online. It has a worldwide launch tomorrow, September 24. 
 
Directed by Shane Drake, the
video was filmed at Butterfly Hollow, a butterfly farm an hour outside of
Nashville, offering the perfect setting for whimsical imagery. Danielle invited
some of her best friends to join in the fun as her co-stars.
 
"Shooting
my first music video was an incredible experience," said Danielle. "It matches
perfectly the storytelling in the song. I can't wait for everyone to see
it!"

Miranda Lambert doesn’t just rescue dogs, she also adopts them

Miranda Lambert's animal rescue efforts are well known, but it turns out that she doesn't just rescue animals, she also adopts them. 

Over the weekend, Miranda paid a visit to the Big Dog Ranch in Wellington, Florida and adopted a sweet little puppy. The visit was extra special, though, as it all happened thanks to one little girl's efforts.
