This was maybe not the best picture to show LeAnn Rimes honoring Martin Luther King

LeAnn Rimes was in Washington D.C. on Wednesday where she took part in the 50th anniversary of the iconic Martin Luther King “I have a dream…” civil rights speech. LeAnn belted out Amazing Grace in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

I'm sure it was all touching and beautiful. Unfortunately, the picture above (courtesy of an Us Weekly article screenshot on Jezebel's website today) is the picture everyone is using to show LeAnn at the celebration.

Honoring MLK's dream indeed.

After her performance, Rimes tweeted: “Such an honor to have sung for our past 4 presidents since I was a baby. Beautiful day. Now it’s bday (birthday) party time!!”
