This is actually an older bit of news, but I unfortunately forgot to post about it when it was new.
Jo Dee Messina's mother has been having a lot of health issues lately and last week had to undergo surgery once again. Jo Dee tweeted:
Moms in surgery now. Please send up a prayer that god is w surgeon and give him the wisdom and hands he needs to do his best

The good thing about reporting late on something like this is at least we know that things must have come out okay since in the week since Jo Dee's mom had surgery we haven't heard anything saying that it didn't go well.
