UPDATE: There's some new info on where this rumor is probably coming from.
Is Kenny Chesney gonna be a dad? The short answer is no, at least I don't think so.
Tonight I got an email from a reader asking me if I had heard a rumor that Kenny Chesney's girlfriend is pregnant with that being a large part of why Kenny's taking 2014 off from touring.
Well I hadn't even heard that Kenny Chesney had a girlfriend let alone that she might be pregnant so, like I always do when I get these sorts of questions emailed to me, I went snooping around.
There was nothing from the usual suspects — The National Enquirer, Star, Us, TMZ, etc. — so I went and Googled. A lot of times the country music forums around the web are good places to hear the newest scuttlebutt, but I got nothing there. I did, however, find an article on MediaMass that said Kenny Chesney's girlfriend is pregnant.
Another source revealed that “she TWICE made toasts … by drinking water instead of wine,” adding that it is “highly unusual” to “toast with anything but a full glass of wine.” (In case you weren’t aware, pregnant ladies aren’t supposed to drink alcohol. It specifically says that in “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”)
Unfortunately for all you folks out there getting ready to buy a box of cigars and knit little blue or pink booties for Kenny and his mystery girlfriend, you should probably know that MediaMass is a self-professed fake website. Well it's a real website but it writes 100% fake "news" stories, something it mentions in the fine print.
Strange huh? I'm not sure why anyone would want to make up odd stories that start knowingly false rumors but whatever floats your boat.
The saddest thing about all of this is that that website with 100% fake stories has more followers on Facebook than I have.

He’s been dating Mary Nolan since last fall. She’s the former girlfriend of the late football player Junior Seau. Surprised you didn’t even know he had a girlfriend.
Mary Nolan used to be Junior Seau’s girlfriend and lived with him in his multi-million dollar house. Now she’s with Kenny who’s famous and has multi-million dollar houses. It sounds like she likes rich, famous men. I hope she doesn’t end up hurting Kenny.
LR – Don’t sound so surprised. As funny as it sounds, I don’t usually go digging for personal info on the stars unless someone asks me a specific question like whether Kenny’s girlfriend is pregnant. I’m surprisingly not a stalker in my regular life. If other blogs or magazines have something about who someone is dating then I take note of it and tuck it away for possible future use, but I don’t usually go looking for the information. I haven’t seen anything public about Kenny and his love life for quite a while. It wasn’t that I didn’t think he had a girlfriend, just wasn’t something I thought about until someone questioned me about it.
I would be more surprised if he had a GIRLFRIEND

He dated amber Cruth before Mary, they dared for 2 years. She was my nurse at the office I went to. Believe they broke up the first of jan 2013.
I’m a big Kenny Chesney fan and I hope he doesn’t get his heart broken he is a great man and has a heart of gold sounds like to me she’s a gold digger just my opinion I love Kenny and his music
