Wow. Things have taken an even worse turn in regards to Randy Travis.

Earlier today, Randy's doctors, a Dr. William Gray and Michael Mack, let fans know how Randy was doing. From what they said, Randy was doing better and was stabilized in a hospital with a higher level of specialized care than the facility he had been in previously.

Unfortunately, now comes word that Randy has suffered a stroke and has had to have brain surgery. From the latest update from Randy's representative:

As a complication of his congestive heart failure, Mr. Randy Travis has suffered
a stroke and is currently undergoing surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.
He is in critical condition.  We will have updates as they become available.
His family and friends here with him at the hospital request your prayers and
support.

Keep randy in your prayers, it sounds like he's really going to need all he can get.
