Congratulations to Shreveport, Louisiana native Kix Brooks who was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame last weekend.

Kix was honored while on stage during a concert. Afterwards, he told Louisiana’s KALB, “It’s really cool to be recognized, especially among the people from my home state that I really do, I respect their talent, you expect me to say it, but it is, it’s really humbling.” Said Brooks.

“It means a lot to me to come back and to not just be with family and friends, that’s always fun like you’re playing in the living room but to be recognized tonight is really cool.” Kix continued.

Congrats again to Kix.
