Mercury Records singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves will perform current single
“Blowin’ Smoke” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday, July 26
(11:35pm PT-ET/10:35pm CT).
“Blowin’
Smoke,” written by Musgraves, Shane McAnally and Luke Laird, follows up previous
Top 10 hit “Merry Go ‘Round” and has been described by Billboard Magazine as
“a
swaggering barroom singalong that proves she has versatility to match her
sentimentality.”
The official music video
for “Blowin’ Smoke” was shot in LA by director Honey (Kings of Leon/Ke$ha) and

Musgraves’ major label
debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, was recently selected by
Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Times as a Best Album of 2013 (Mid-Year
Report).
