Be sure to tune in tonight when Kenny Chesney performs his new single When I See This Bar on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Jay Leno is, of course, turning over the reins of the Tonight Show to Jimmy Fallon sometime in the spring of 2014. Kenny recently talked about how his new single happens to be similar to Jay Leno.

“There are some things that just are,” Chesney says. “The friendships you make along the way, the places you’ve been… and even though they change, they remain the same in your mind. That is very much what ‘When I See This Bar’ is all about, and I think for a whole lot of people, that’s what Jay Leno and ‘The Tonight Show’ have meant, too.”

“What this album is, what Jay Leno means,” Chesney says, “makes me glad we can go play ‘When I See This Bar’ somewhere that its meaning makes sense. They have a lot of great music that’s been there, a lot of great friendships and fun, and that’s everything ‘When I See This Bar’ is all about”.

"The Tonight Show" airs on NBC at 11:35/10:35c.  I will bring you video of Kenny's performance as soon as it's available.
