Chart Roundup – Week of July 27th, 2013

As if it were a surprise to anyone, the force that is
Florida Georgia Line remains at #1 on Hot Country Songs yet again this week
with ‘Cruise’(remix featuring Nelly). In addition, it remains at #1 on Country
Digital Songs too, while their latest single ‘Round Here’ is at #6 on the same
chart, #16 on Country Airplay and #8 on Hot Country Songs. Their album ‘Here’s
To The Good Times’ stays at #1. Could it become a possibility that they end up
holding both the #1 and #2 spots on the sales charts? Quite easily, in a couple
of weeks’ time.

Blake Shelton also stands in the running for the soundtrack
of the summer, ‘Boys Round Here’ (featuring Pistol Annies and friends) at #2 on
Country Digital Songs, but falling to #4 on Hot Country Songs, while his latest
single ‘Mine Would Be You’ not yet charting on Country Airplay top 25. In
contrast, Hunter Hayes is still rising with ‘I Want Crazy’, taking the #2 spot on
Hot Country Songs this week while he holds onto #3 on Country Digital Songs. He
stays at #6 on Country Airplay, and #4 on Top Country Albums with the ‘Encore’
edition of his self-titled debut album, which still lags behind Blake Shelton’s
‘Based On A True Story…’, standing strong at #2.

Darius Rucker’s ‘Wagon Wheel’ is beginning to drop from its
peak, but refuses to become irrelevant, at #6 on Hot Country Songs, #4 on
Country Digital Songs, while it drops off Country Airplay. His album, ‘True
Believers’, is at #3. Luke Bryan keeps his radio #1 for another week meanwhile,
‘Crash My Party’ showing no signs of slowing down, rising to #3 on Hot Country
Songs and #5 on Country Digital Songs. Randy Houser is also on the rise, up to
#5 this week on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, but falling one place to
#7 on Country Digital Songs.

Things are looking good for The Band Perry, who are #2 on
Country Airplay with their latest single ‘DONE.’. They are at a slightly less
impressive #10 on Hot Country Songs and #20 on Country Digital Songs, however
the latter looks like in for a rise. Meanwhile, ‘Pioneer’ is back up at #11 on
Top Country Albums. Brett Eldredge is doing slightly better, ‘Don’t Ya’
settling at #7 on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, and #8 on Country
Digital Songs, while Kip Moore’s ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ is in a similar position, #9
on Hot Country Songs, #15 on Country Digital Songs, yet #4 on Country Airplay.

Congratulations are in order for Carrie Underwood, whose
slow burner ‘See You Again’ has finally broken the top 10 on Country Airplay,
reaching #8, while elsewhere she’s at #11 on Hot Country Songs and #13 on
Country Digital Songs. The only new release this week is Travis Tritt with ‘The
Calm After…’ new in at #31 on Top Country Albums. Honorable mentions go to
Tyler Farr, Lee Brice, Zac Brown Band, Easton Corbin, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw,
Keith Urban, Billy Currington, Thomas Rhett and Lady Antebellum.
