Taylor Swift continued her tradition of bringing fellow musicians onstage with her on on Saturday night when she invited Carly Simon to perform with her in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Taylor surprised fans at Gillette Stadium when Carly joined her for a duet of the 41-year-old hit song You're So Vain. After the show, Taylor tweeted: “Got to sing ‘You’re So Vain’ with Carly Simon at Gillette Stadium tonight!!!!! Unreal. I could not possibly look up to her more.”
The fact that You're So Vain was released a good 20 or 30 years before most of those in attendance at the concert were born didn't seem to matter since it sounds like the entire audience was singing along.
