The divorce is off … again.
I guess the old saying can't live with them, can't live without them holds true for the Cyruses.
Back in June, Billy Ray Cyrus' wife of 22 years, Tish, filed for divorce. This was the second time the couple had filed for divorce from each other. Then came all the drama of Miley threatening her dad over Twitter and blah blah blah.
Now comes the unsurprising news that the couple has decided to give it another go and have called off the divorce.
The couple released a statement to People this morning:
"We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together," they say in a statement. "We both went into couples therapy something we haven't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways."
They add: "Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We've had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work."
With two minor children still living at home and three others out and about in the world, let's hope this reconcilliation sticks this time.
