John Rich gets a new T.V. show, slams Rolling Stone magazine over Boston Bomber cover

Time boston bomber
Rolling Stone magazine has ruffled quite a few feathers with the cover of their latest issue which features Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

John Rich tweeted his disgust with the magazine this morning, saying: "You always think as an artist "If I ever get on the Rolling Stone I'll know I've made it!" That was until they started promoting terrorists."

Just so you know, I'm now going to have Dr. Hook's Cover of The Rolling Stone stuck in my head all day now. Also, do you think Rolling Stone would have put the bomber on their cover if he looked like a troll rather than a little Jihadist heartthrob? Just sayin'.

In other John Rich news, T.V. Guide is reporting that he's set to take part in another reality show on TVGN

The Untitled John Rich Project will film at Rich's Nashville home and feature live performances, celebrity interviews, surprise guests and lots of audience interaction in a loose party atmosphere. The series is produced by 25/7 Productions with David Broome (The Biggest Loser), Yong Yamand Marc Oswald as executive producers.

This definitely isn't John's first foray into reality T.V. He's also taken part in "Celebrity Apprentice," "Nashville Star," "Gone Country," and "The Star Next Door" in the past.

To answer that fan question: Is Luke Bryan getting divorced?

Luke Bryan
"To answer that fan question" is the part of NashvilleGab where I take the sometimes funny things readers have ended up on the website searching for and actually answer them in a somewhat coherent way.

Okay, for some reason people have been coming to NashvilleGab a lot lately searching for whether Luke Bryan is getting divorced or is already divorced.

The simple answer to that burning question is: I don't think so.

Honestly, as an outsider looking in I'm not a party to Luke's private life and have no way of knowing these things unless TMZ or People.com breaks the story. I will tell you, though, that as a gossip/news writer I've heard nary a squawk on the subject from those nosy nellies out there who like to pass on this sort of information to me. As far as I know, Luke and his lovely wife Caroline are as happy as two peas in a cozy little pod. With two sons to think about, let's hope they stay that way.

But why the sudden interest in Luke's marriage status? Probably just wishful thinking. I mean come on, the man is a handsome fella with really nice teeth. Apart from the normal sexiness worship, however, if you Google "Luke Bryan divorce" one of the first results that pops up is a bit of fan fiction someone wrote about Luke getting divorced and falling in love with the writer.

Brandy Clark ‘Stripes’ – Single & Video Review

0f2b19a5a69d3b1e61fc8319336ed0c7

Brandy Clark has been one of my favorite new discoveries of
2013. Known for co-writes on tracks like Miranda Lambert’s ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’,
The Band Perry’s ‘Better Dig Two’, and a few on Kacey Musgraves’ debut album
including ‘Follow Your Arrow’, she has been on the crux of stardom for a little
while with her huge wealth of songwriting talent. Recently she has been
stepping into the ring as an artist in her own right, showcasing her impressive
and intriguing vocals. Part conversation-style, part dark, husky, melodic and
soulful, Brandy is a lost gem creating interesting and entertaining music that
is feisty and has something to say.

‘Stripes’ is one such example. Released to iTunes for a
while now, Brandy recently debuted the video on MTV and her star is set to rise
immeasurably if there is any musical justice in the world. The song begins with
the sound of a gunshot and comes in with a 60/70s influence that sets her far
apart from much of country music’s mainstream. However, no country music fan of
any style can deny the infectious nature of the picking pattern and rhythm, and
the haunting feel of the quivering guitar strums that really make the
atmosphere of ‘Stripes’.
