Blake Shelton did a little acting in his recent Christmas special, but now he's ready to take the plunge and make his real-to-goodness acting debut.

Blake Shelton is heading to "Malibu Country."

HuffPost TV can exclusively reveal that Shelton will play Reba McEntire's brother on the ABC comedy. "The Voice" coach will appear in the Friday, March 1 episode. The "Malibu Country" cast also includes Lily Tomlin as Reba's mother and Sara Rue as Kim, Reba's neighbor.

In October, McEntire told ETOnline that she was courting Shelton for a guest role.

"I've already talked to Blake [Shelton] and Kelly [Clarkson] and they said … that they would appear, so we just got to get the script right when we need 'em in here," she said.

No word on whether this will be a recurring role or a one-time appearance for Blake, but either way it's sure to be a fun time.
