To answer that fan question: Who is the background singer in Gary Allan’s “Every Storm Runs Out Of Rain?”

“To answer that fan question” is the part of NashvilleGab where I take the sometimes funny things readers have ended up on the website searching for and actually answer them in a somewhat coherent way.

Lately a lot of people have been coming onto NashvilleGab trying to find out just who it is that sings vocals on Gary Allan’s new single Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain).

I was thinking I had read somewhere that the background vocalist was the daughter of a famous country singer, but I was wrong.

According to Roughstock, the background vocalist is actually the song’s co-writer Hillary Lindsey.

Hillary has written and co-written songs for some of the biggest names in country music including Sara Evans, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride; the list seriously goes on and on and on.

She’s also a very accomplished singer in her own right. Here she is singing a little song she co-wrote that you might recognize called Jesus Take the Wheel.
