Kathy Mattea is a country music artists who has been around since I was young. She also has a bluegrass side as well. She has had seventeen albums and more than thirty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart. Kathy Mattea is from West Virginia, which is also my home state. I would like to think us West Virginians are a special bunch, we love hard & fight even harder. Kathy has made a new video about her home state and the controversial issue of coal mining.
