Country music is changing with a new group of artists getting noticed for their fresh sound and strong stories.

Many of them found fans through social media, sharing songs and videos online. Some have already made it big with hit songs, while others are standing out on big tours and at music festivals.

All of the artists on this list show what country music looks like today. They are growing fast, and their music careers don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Ty Myers

Ty Myers is a 17-year-old country singer who became popular in early 2023. His first songs, “Tie That Binds” and “Drinkin’ Alone,” went viral and got millions of streams.

His debut album, The Select, has a soulful, bluesy Texas country sound. Songs like “Ends of the Earth” and “Let ‘Em Talk” became big hits on TikTok, which helped him grow fast.

He now has a big fan base that loves his music. Ty signed with a major record label but still keeps control of some parts of his career, according to Saving Country Music.

Bayker Blankenship

Dylan Gossett is an American singer who became famous on social media, especially TikTok. His first song, “To Be Free,” came out in 2023 and got some attention, but his next song, “Coal,” went viral in July.

“Coal” got over 30 million streams on Spotify and even made it on the Billboard charts and in other countries. His music mixes folk, Americana, and country.

People compare him to Zach Bryan. “Coal” is about a breakup caused by alcoholism. The chorus talks about becoming a diamond under pressure. He signed with Big Loud and is now touring a lot.

Matt Schuster

Matt Schuster is a country singer from Charleston, Illinois. He became popular on TikTok in February 2023 with his emotional song “Wasted Prayers.”

He’s inspired by artists like George Strait, Koe Wetzel, and Parker McCollum. Hudson has already put out a self-titled EP with songs like “Pray Your Name” and “Two Way Drive.”

Josh Ross
