Country 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida served as a little reunion for two of Nashville’s most talented recording artists.
Cassadee Pope and Brooke Eden grew up together in West Palm Beach, Florida, even taking vocal lessons from the same coach. The friends and families of Pope and Eden were elated when they learned their girls would be performing at the same event, giving them all a chance to support both of these South Florida success stories. Also excited about their first outing together since striking it big in Music City, Pope and Eden didn’t allow the moment to pass them by without giving fans and loved ones in attendance a little something special to remember the occasion.
During Pope’s set, she performed a cover of one of her idols, Martina McBride, leading the crowd in an ode to all the girls out there. In the second verse, Eden joined the stage, turning the performance into a bonafide duet, as the two alternated verses and came together on the chorus.
A long way from their childhood days of singing at pageants and smaller shows, the now signed recording artists shared their love for one another and country music in front of a huge crowd of festival-goers, making their home state incredibly proud.
