I’m not a politically correct sort of person by any stretch of the imagination, but even I know this isn’t a very good look for a celebrity … or anybody for that matter.
When the picture above first fell in my lap and I was told it was a picture of Jason Aldean, his wife, and a couple friends dressed up for Halloween, I didn’t think much of it because I automatically thought the hunter was Jason.
But then I took another look (and another and another) and then a few more so I could compare regular pictures of Jason to this blackface (brownface?) sporting Jason. That’s when I came to the realization that, no, Jason isn’t actually the hunter.
Um, yeah.
I was kind of hoping that Jason’s darkened face was just the lighting, but I don’t think we could be that lucky.
Seriously, I try really hard to keep it light and airy about Jason because people have this impression that I don’t like him, which isn’t true at all. But come on, this sort of crap just makes my job wayyyyy too easy.
Why, Jason, why?
Update: Jason’s rep has now confirmed that this is Jason and that he’s dressed as Lil Wayne.
But if lil Wayne painted his face a little lighter to dress as Jason Aldean then all would be ok. Pathetic.
Omg! Big deal it was Halloween! We all know it wasn’t to offend anyone or lil Wayne so get over it already! I’m sure Lil Wayne has! SMH
Big deal do people have anything else to do with their time. It was Halloween nobody got hurt. If Lil Wayne did that to Jason would it be the same. Please people grow up and pick your battles.

I watch old “Dexter” reruns on a regular basis. It’s awesome to watch those serial killers get what’s coming to them. Does that mean I should go ahead and go out and murder a few bad guys because I watched it on T.V.?
