It's sad to know that Strait is retiring from the road, but there is some exciting news to help fans get over the sadness. On Wednesday night, there was an invite-only event held in Nashville to celebrate George's 30-year career at MCA Nashville. During the event, UMG Nashville Chairman Mike Dungan made the exciting announcement that King George has signed on to record five more albums in the coming years for MCA Nashville.
Five more albums. That's epic. Good to know that no matter what direction country music goes in, there's going to be music coming from George Strait to balance everything out.
