Carrie Underwood's most recent album, Blown Away, is still going great and having new singles released from it, but she's already thinking ahead to album number five and planning when she'll start recording.
Carrie recently spoke with Billboard about her upcoming plans and when she'll get busy recording her fifth album.
"The Sound of Music" is "my entire fall," she says. "I'll be living in New York for a couple months. It's all live, so it is going to take a lot of rehearsals. It will be a couple of solid months working on it for one big night. And after that I feel like I can really buckle down and start working on the next album."
Carrie recently spent time in Austria (photo) getting ready for her role as Maria Von Trapp in "The Sound of Music," which will air live on NBC December 5.
Next up for Carrie, she will be heading to New York to co-host Good Morning America on Monday morning.
