The T.V. show "Pretty Little Liars" is turning out to be a country singer haven.
It's a pretty well known fact now that Lucy Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery on the ABC Family drama, is hard at work on her debut country album and has even worked with Sugarland's Kristian Bush on some of the songwriting. She talked about the album a couple of months ago for Seventeen's June/July issue:
“My album is something I’m really, really, really proud of. I’ve intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it. But I think that once they hear it, they’ll be like, ‘Okay, she loves this and is serious about it.’ This is my pride and joy — it’s my baby! I worked my butt off on it.”
She tells VH1 about her first country single:
“The song is called ‘This Country Is Bad Ass’ and it was such an exciting journey we had. We wrote it a year ago and we’ve been kind of waiting for the right time [to put it out]. It just felt right and I guess it was. We weren’t expecting this much hype at all.
“We didn’t expect it to even get on any chart. We kind of just wanted to release it and feel it out.”
There's no word on when Sasha may have an album out, but Lucy Hale says hers should be out by the end of this year.
