Award-winning Country group The Band Perry are gearing up to release their second full-length studio album. Titled Pioneer, the new record, produced by Dann Huff, boasts 12 songs, including their current chart-topper, "Better Dig Two. The group took to their WhoSay on Thursday to reveal the full track list. The new album (on Republic Nashville) will be released on April 2 and serves as the followup to their platinum-selling self-titled debut.
Before finishing up in the studio for the new record, Reid, Neil and Kimberley Perry consulted with Rick Rubin known for his work with Johnny Cash and the Dixie Chicks. "Our time in the studio with Rick was so incredible because during our early sessions, he challenged us to set higher goals as songwriters," Reid told CMT News. Neil chimed in, "With that experience came the realization that we needed to take the music back home to Tennessee and have Dann Huff bring the songs to life with his production. Sometimes where one starts off is not where one ends up, which is a big theme for us on 'Pioneer.'"
